Will you take on the
2.6 challenge?

Set up a fundraiser to get family, friends and more to sponsor you doing 26 or 2.6 of… anything you like! 26th April. Help support Oxfam with our vital response to the Coronavirus.

Thousands of fundraising events across the UK have been cancelled or postponed because of the Coronavirus, including the London Marathon which was due to take place next Sunday 26 April.

This is always an incredible day, full of joy, celebrations and unity. The organisers of the biggest sports events across the country have come together to keep the spirit of the London Marathon alive, with a new campaign to raise vital funds for charities. We would love you to be part of it with Oxfam!

What is the 2.6 Challenge?

The 2.6 challenge is for all ages and abilities. All you need to do is think of an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26. You could walk 2.6 miles (keeping 2m from others!). Hop 26 times. Or do a 26-hour gaming marathon – whatever works best for you and whatever you will enjoy the most.

Just ask your friends and family to sponsor you, and take part on Sunday 26 April. Anything you raise will make a huge difference to help us stop the spread of the Coronavirus in vulnerable communities - £26 could provide clean, safe water for five families for a month.

How to take part:

  1. Decide on your 2.6 or 26 activity
  2. Set up your fundraising page
  3. Share your plans on social media with both #TwoPointSixChallenge and #TeamOxfam
  4. Once you've signed up, keep us updated with how you get on via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Don't forget to use these hashtags #TwoPointSixChallenge and #TeamOxfam so we get to see!

  5. Do your challenge on Sunday 26 April!
